Filler swelling: what day one, three and fourteen look like
Fillers

Swelling is normal after filler. Here is what to expect each day, and the signs that mean you should call us.
Almost everyone swells after filler, and lips swell the most. Day one is usually the biggest: lips can look a size larger than they will settle, and small bumps are common.
By day three most of the swelling has gone down, though mornings can look puffier. Bruising, if you have any, turns yellow and fades within a week. Cold compresses and sleeping with your head raised help.
By day fourteen you are looking at the result, which is why we book your check then. Call us right away, at any hour, if you notice skin turning white or dusky, pain that keeps getting worse or any change in your vision.
