Why laser hair removal takes a series, not one session

Hair grows in cycles, and the laser only reaches part of it each time. Here is how we plan your sessions.
At any moment, only some of your hair is in its active growth phase. Those are the hairs the laser can reach, which is why one session never clears an area.
Most areas need six to eight sessions, four to eight weeks apart. Faces tend to need sessions closer together, legs further apart. Shave the day before, and skip waxing or plucking between sessions.
Avoid tanning for two weeks before and after each session. Tanned skin absorbs more of the laser’s energy, so we may lower the settings or reschedule to keep your skin safe.
